Toronto Vacation - Part One

Toronto Vacation - Part One

As usual, Jill was anxious to get on the road with a somewhat arbitrary desire to leave by noon. We packed mostly long sleeves on Jill’s recommendation but realized as we were getting in the car to leave that the weather won’t be could enough to warrant it. We should have gone back and repacked, but we didn’t. Fire alarm after shower (during Peregrin shower). Duquesne Incline. Randyland. Walk towards Mr Rogers statue through park. Stopped at Civil War memorial and quizzed kids about it. Turned around before we got there. Bug bit me on the neck. Headache. Leash free area. Poison ivy growing out of the sidewalk. Driving past a traffic control person trying to get an ambulance through. “What the hell?!” Got to Apteka at 5:10 and there was a line to get in. Burned out car. Waited for a spot to open up in the cemetery across the street.
